Well that’s Siebe, a 22 year old woodworker, born and raised in Bergen op Zoom. All his life he would love to become a woodworker and so he did, but just a few years ago he discovered that he had more talent than he could ever imagine. He started with photography in 2006 with a simple compact digital camera and slowly worked his self up.
All the things Siebe has achieved over the last couple of years is all based on his own creative mind and knowledge. He never joined a study group about photography or photo editing but developed his own skills by simply using the products and doing research on Google.
In 2008 Siebe started publishing his photos under the name “swarmoeskerken.com” till there was a day he realized that there was a unique “brand” in the family that was slowly fading away. Back in the 50′s his grandpa was the owner of an arts centre named “De Vetpan”.In this building people could watch theatrical shows, sunday movies and performances from the local orchestra. Those days it was one of the biggest entertainment buildings in the city of Bergen op Zoom and all the members of the family where known as the kids from “De Vetpan”.
Late in 2008 Siebe started publishing his work under the name of “De Vetpan studios” to give the name a 2nd life and to keep the “brand” in the family.
